Authenticity without Exposure
Verify an Output / दाखला पडताळणी
Official verification guide for certificates, revenue extracts, and statutory outputs issued across Maharashtra e-Setu Kendras.
Official Verification Protocol
- Scan Output QR Code: Scan the high-density QR code printed on the top-right corner of the certificate using your smartphone camera.
- Check Government Domain URL: Ensure the browser opens directly to the official state portal (e.g.
aaplesarkar.mahaonline.gov.inormahabhumi.gov.in). Never trust third-party verification mirrors. - Inspect 16-Digit Barcode Token: Match the 16-digit alphanumeric barcode number printed below the barcode with the token returned on the verification screen.
- Validate Digital Signature: In Adobe Acrobat Reader, look for the green checkmark stating "Digitally signed by [Officer Name], MahaGov CA / eMudhra Class-3". A valid digital signature eliminates the need for physical ink seals.
Data Privacy Protection: Under Section 8 of the DPDP Act 2023, public verification pages must not display full Aadhaar numbers, private mobile numbers, or citizen bank account details.
Security Features on Valid Certificates
- State Emblem Watermark: Look for the Government of Maharashtra emblem embossed into the paper/PDF background.
- Unique Barcode & Issue Date: Printed on both sides of the certificate with the Tahsildar / SDO digital signing timestamp.
- Standard RTS Disclaimer: "This certificate is generated electronically under Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act, 2015 and does not require manual signature."
- Suspected Forgery: If a certificate lacks a valid digital signature or returns no record on official QR scan, report it immediately to your District Collectorate e-Setu Vigilance Cell.
